Fixed membership and donation agreement via Mobilepay or bank transfer

When a member/contributor supports HopeNow with a fixed membership fee and or support, hopeNow can deduct the selected amount according to the agreed payment frequency, which applies from the day the agreement is concluded.

Receipt

 The member or gift provider will receive a receipt by email upon registration or gift.

Registration of information

 HopeNow registers entered information in connection with a donation or membership. According to the accounts, the data will not be disclosed, but HopeNow stores the data for five years. HopeNow uses logs on the donation page. The log files record the user as a member. When paying by credit card, registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted.

Renewal

 Upon entering into a permanent membership or support, HopeNow can contact the member/contributor by email or telephone to renew the subscription when the payment card expires or is blocked or otherwise. If there are ongoing payments from a card and you change/renew the card, the ongoing withdrawals are stopped, so we ask that you continue the card identification with the new card’s data. Similar is applicable when changing banks.

Termination

 If the member/contributor wishes to stop their regular appointment, they can contact HopeNow by email or phone. If you have created a membership via MobilPay, you can cancel your membership in your settings in MobilPay. 

Right of withdrawal

 There is a 14-day right of withdrawal on a simple donation or a subscription payment.

Complaint 

 Complaints about errors/problems in the donation can be relayed to the following address, email or phone number.

Arrangementet handler om, hvordan folk bruger online rum til relationer, menneskehandel i Danmark og ”Only Fans” aktiviteter, der fører til prostitution for helt unge danskere. Eventet er et samarbejde mellem HopeNow, HIV Denmark og SocialShine.

“On 12 March 2021 – 11.00 AM CET La Strada International organises the webinar Access to Residence for Victims of Trafficking. During this webinar we will launch a new research report Residence Permits, International Protection and Victims of Human Trafficking assessing available long term protection and residence opportunities, including the refugee protection scheme, for victims of trafficking. This research has been conducted in the framework of the project REsidency Status: STrengthening the protection of trafficked persons (REST project), coordinated by LSI’s member LEFO IBF and implemented with 5 other LSI members in Spain, France, the Netherlands, Serbia and Moldova. In line with the findings, La Strada International called recently upon members of the European Parliament and National European governments to commit to 10 actions to improve access to residence. The third speaker is Ms. Venla Roth, National Coordinator on Trafficking in Human Beings in Finland, who will react to the research findings, reflecting on the situation in Finland. Mercy is from Kenya and is a trafficking survivor. Together with HopeNow staff, she has played a central role in allowing the organisation to spread its reach further by having greater access to vulnerable people within the African diaspora – both men and women. Thanks to dedicated staff like her, HopeNow has been better able to identify more individuals working in forced crime, who are vulnerable, exploited and/or trafficked.
